Connctly (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use connctly.com and our related services (collectively, the “Services”). Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: name, email address, username, password, and profile photo when you register;
• Profile data: biography, location, website, occupation, and other optional profile fields;
• User Content: posts, photos, videos, stories, comments, messages, and other content you submit;
• Communications: messages you send to other users or to our support team;
• Payment and payout information: for Creator Monetization Program participants, billing details and payout account information (processed by our payment partners — we do not store full payment card numbers).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit;
• Device information: device identifiers, screen resolution, and language preferences;
• Usage data: features used, content interacted with, search queries, and time spent on the Platform;
• Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 4 for details.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

If you choose to connect a third-party account (e.g., Google, Apple) we may receive basic profile information from that provider, such as your name and email address, consistent with its privacy settings and our permissions.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Services;
• Personalize your experience and surface relevant content and connections;
• Process transactions and administer the Creator Monetization Program;
• Send you service-related communications (account confirmations, security alerts, policy updates);
• Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests;
• Monitor for and enforce compliance with our Terms of Service and policies;
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• Analyze usage trends and measure the effectiveness of advertising;
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Advertising

We partner with Google AdSense and other third-party advertising networks to serve advertisements on the Platform, including on Creator pages enrolled in the Monetization Program. These advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to our Services and other websites in order to serve you targeted advertisements based on your interests.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info. We also comply with the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework where applicable.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

• With other users: your profile, posts, and public content are visible to other users as you configure in your privacy settings;
• Service providers: we share information with vendors who help operate the Platform (cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics) under contractual obligations to protect your data;
• Advertising partners: we share limited technical identifiers (e.g., anonymized user IDs, browser data) with advertising partners to serve and measure ads;
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Connctly, our users, or the public;
• Business transfers: if Connctly is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections;
• With your consent: we may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Deletion: request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal exceptions);
• Portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
• Opt-out of targeted advertising: use the controls described in Section 3 or contact us;
• Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers from the European Economic Area or other regions that require such protections.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, our business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we share it with. California residents also have the right to request deletion and to opt out of the “sale” of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
